🔧 How much does a boiler service cost with Thermwise?

Our standard annual boiler service is priced at £90 + VAT. This covers a full inspection, cleaning and testing of your boiler to ensure it’s operating safely and efficiently.

🛠️ How often should I have my boiler serviced?

We recommend having your boiler serviced once a year, ideally before the heating season begins. Regular servicing helps keep your boiler running efficiently, reduces the risk of breakdowns and ensures your home remains safe. It also helps to maintain your manufacturer’s warranty.

🔥 What boiler brands do you install?

Thermwise fits boilers from Vaillant, Glow-worm and Worcester Bosch. Vaillant is our preferred premium brand, Worcester Bosch offers an excellent mid-range option and Glow-worm provides a reliable, more budget-friendly choice. We’ll recommend the right brand and model for your property size and heating requirements.

⏱️ How long does a new boiler installation take?

A standard combi-to-combi boiler swap typically takes around one day. More complex work, such as converting from a system or regular boiler to a combi, or relocating the boiler to a new position, may take longer. We’ll give you a clear timeframe before we begin any work.

⚡ Do you offer same-day availability?

Yes. Whether it’s a repair, an installation or a survey, we aim to have availability for as soon as the same day. We understand that heating problems don’t wait, and we’ll always do our best to respond quickly.

🚨 My boiler has broken down – what should I do?

If your boiler has stopped working, the first thing to do is check whether it’s displaying a fault code. Make a note of this and contact us, we’ll diagnose the issue quickly and aim to get your heating back up and running in a single visit. Our vans are heavily stocked with parts, so we can resolve most repairs without needing to return for a second call-out.

🔧 Do you carry out plumbing work?

Yes, we carry out general plumbing repairs and emergency plumbing work. Please note we do not offer bathroom installations and do not operate a 24-hour callout service.

💻 Can I get a quote online?

Yes. For straightforward boiler installations, you can get a quote through our online booking tool. For more complex jobs such as conversions or full central heating installations, we may arrange a virtual or home survey first to make sure we quote you accurately.

💳 Do you offer finance for a new boiler?

We are currently in the process of setting up a finance option to help customers spread the cost of a new boiler. Please check our Finance Options page or contact us directly for the latest information.

👨‍🔧 Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?

Yes. All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered and fully qualified to carry out gas work in residential properties. Your safety is our absolute priority on every job we carry out.
